Consider The Fog Of Truth

Getting close to the Truth on anything has always been a tricky business.  In earlier eras, long distance communication was not prevalent, so there was that issue. Solution? Concentrate on seeking truths closer to you, in your home, your village….

With modern times, the issue has flipped with so much communication ability there is a wall of noise. 

Solution? The same…seek truth         where it matters most, with yourself and those around you.

What happens across the nation or world is always a chaotic mess. The farther out you go, the bigger the human travesty. You can’t process it all and if you try to, and are so busy trying to fix the world, it means nothing if you aren’t a wonderful human to those immediately around you, your neighbors and community.

But how do you seek truths in general. I say ‘triangulate’ (at least) Seek out varying points of view, on purpose. CONSIDER as many angles as possible, The more viewpoints you can see from, the nearer you will get to pinning down something solid that you can bank on. 

In this accelerated climate of noise, people are getting hit so hard and fast with information, they are losing the ability to CONSIDER the information. Turning over viewpoints in your mind, meditating on them, analysing the logic of others…..this practice is being eradicated. 

Maybe it’s impossible to find ‘the truth’… but if people returned to taking more time to consider as many viewpoints as possible, things like compromise become more possible.
